So I want to trigger a duck from a kick and then leave open. this seems like basic functionality that is not present? Instead the envelope allays closes to silence? Sometimes with a nasty click. Or Am I missing something? Can I just trigger a duck then leave the envelope 100% open until next gate trigger?

Actually I can do what I need with Passthrough, Loop, and Reset all checked and use the cv from Drum Sequencer.
Hey Paul, you beat me to the punch. I was going to tinker with it this evening too. So glad you found the combination of settings that work for your specific need. Would love to see you publish a YouTube tutorial for others to check out. 😉
Hello Paul, thanks for your inquiry. The following #SCReTip video tutorial shows how to trigger SCRE (duck sound) with a kick. As for the 'nasty clicks', these clicks, snaps or pops occur naturally with hardware and in all DAWs. This is because our ears pick up the 'cut' when a sample is chopped at a high peak to 'zero'. Refer to page 11 of the SCRE Operation Manual for more details. Let us know how it goes.
Hi sorry maybe I didn't phrase the question properly. I wanted to use sidechained and to just have the envelope stay open then duck when triggered by the CV/gate and not reset until the next CV/gate trigger. I realise now that you are using the whole CV and not just the gate trigger. You are resetting on the cv/gate off. (if set to release off) , or you are not resetting until the next CV gate (release on) however if "another" CVgate is still active it will not reset.. This is problematic as you need to be really careful with the CV/gate length (or is using the samples they cannot be longer than the loop length) otherwise will not reset..
This was the issue that was perplexing me and makess the devise tricky to use. If it is possible there should just be an option to trigger the with a cv gate trigger only. leave open and retrigger with the next gate trigger.
Hi Paul, okay we understand what you're trying to accomplish now. We'll look 'under the hood' for a proper solution in next update.
Hi, I wrote a longer reply but it disappeared? i'm not sure if it will come back but I said it wrong in the reply. I meant to say so make so that it will reset on every incoming gate open signal. and not be blocked by a currently open CV cheers. also I was wondering is possible to make so that can trigger all channels with one input? anyway brilliant tool. thankyou.
